Amazing Experience

I recently got back from an amazing once in a life time experience in the Himalayas. We chose a trek to Everest Base Camp going through Gokyo and Over the Cho La Pass. From our first email enquiry almost a year before our trip we knew we chose the right tour operator. Gyanu a trip coordinator for the company in Nepal answered all of our questions regarding times, travel expectations and trip specifics. He was always prompt with reply’s and made sure our hotels and airport pickups were booked and made tweaking times and booking extra days easy and convenient when my flights changed last minute! Everyone at there was friendly, professional and most importantly helpful at every step. It was also reassuring to see hand sanitizer available in offices and hotels with signs stating the Covid safety measures being taken. It feels good to travel again! The actual trek? Absolutely incredible! And it was made possible and enhanced by our amazing guide Gyanu. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Gyanu was so knowledgeable about the trail, mountains, tea houses, flora and fauna and was never bothered by the question ‘which mountain is that one?’ No matter how many times I asked it! He gave great recommendations regarding meals at the different tea houses as we climbed in elevation and remoteness which was very. I have a lot of admiration and respect for what he can do! All around this was a great trip and I thank everyone for making this bucket list experience so enjoyable.
